[Open] Strange teleporting and connection losses

Hi

Looking for pointers as to what is wrong with my setup, as I assume this is just me. Used to be fine, nothing changed that I can tell.

This happens on my home net and on other nets.

Have started seeing server and my game out of sync, so I will move then be put back where I started , or teleport further on, or see nords hitting where I am even though I appear elsewhere, etc.

Combined with a LOT of connection to server lost messages.

I have uninstalled and re-installed the game
tried wired and wifi and other networks.

Any pointers very much appreciated

What is your current ping on the servers? And do you remember if it used to be lower?

ping seems steady around 40-50, it has been a little lower but never large.

tried this morning, and ping steady at 42. Same issues.

had the same problem once... i deleted the M&B save settings wich have been located at Libary/Documents

I have rebuilt the laptop, from disk format through new steam, new M&B-WB, new NI and same problem.

I think it is my network, but not sure what about it. My bandwidth is fine, my ping is fine. I tried a 4G hotspot and it was much better, so definitely network.

Maybe a lot of errors on it or something.

Yes based on what you have said I would replace the router or the Modem. Or both. It sounds like one of them is failing.

Before buying new hardware make sure to restart your modem and or router, something a lot of people rarely do and could solve a lot of issues.. or prevent them even. I reset mine every 2 weeks.
If possible and you know what you are doing give it a firmware update even.

How are you connected to the internet? WiFi, Powerline or Ethernet?
And are you connected to a modem/router directly or to a router/AP/switch that is connected to a modem.
