The minimum price on AH doesn't mean that's actually what it's worth to the community. I can buy all old boots on the AH and put a single one up for 2k for example.

No item has a constant price.
The money value of a given item is determined by two factors, nothing else: What the seller and buyer agree it is worth.

So... all prices are legit, even if I were to take an old boot and put it up for 1.5million gold. I might not get someone to buy, but the price is still "real" enough

Sry - just tired of people telling other people what they should sell their items for. There are no such rules in virtual trade, fortunately.
