Does it make sense making such a complex gamemode just before the Bannerlord release?

Whoa, Bannerlord is about to be released?! :O
(It isn't, it is back to TBA on Steam)
I'd hate for NI to go a year without updates waiting for Bannerlord, as was suggested about a year ago.

Like Russian said, I'd be happy to see Swadians invading and Nords defending one day. The big question is can AI defend reasonably / actively? If they just sit behind cade and wait it would be just sniping the enemy ranged then sniping all the rest. No good.
Nice idea Kaasovic, though it seems to me a bit what we have now only on different maps. We can Sally now, we don't have to wait behind cade. Then phase 2 seems to be precisely the current "behind cade and shoot". Then Phase 3 is more or less the same without cade.
Perhaps we might experiment to have one server that wouldn't allow any cades and see how it works? That would surely bring shielders back to business.

When phase 2 starts the enemy will attack the defences like a proper siege, there will be no killzones and manpower needs to be divided.
