Question if you allow everyone to pay off the debt why don't you make a way we can all pay it if we get to that stage.

A way could be inviting your owe IDs to your house is free.

Because code doens't write itself and we need to prioritise certain features over others based on how much free time we have, how many players it will affect, and how long it would take to implement. It has been on the to-do list for a while and at some point, it might very well be a feature but not right now.
