You know you're in for a bad time when...

You log in and are lucky enough to be in at the first spawn on Mountain Pass (or any other map) and the only barricade constructed is a deployable shield and you are the one that placed it. 
This continues for all following maps and the furthest round you make it to on each map is the first respawn wave.

Your team mates do the equivalent of Brownian motion, spreading out over a wide area.

Your team mates watch as you, a low level or an archer, get tagged and chased by half the hoarde.  Wait untill you get smegged/minced before attacking.

As a level one grunt you go a a shielder on a wall from the very first wave and last untill a lucky Huscarl on the umpteenth wave takes you out with one hit.  Get called a useless fag and a noob.

You know your in for a bad time when...

1. You are on a full server and every single player has either a bow or a crossbow.

2. All the archers/crossbow people (political correctness there) shoot at Nord shields instead of the Nord archers who are busily kebabing anyone that is visible.

3. Nobody told you that on the village map the bridge over the gully had been feckin removed so that when you try to bate and shoot Nords, you hit a dead end.  The word 'mince' applies round about now.

4. Just Berserkers at any point whatsoever.  :-\

1. As a pikeman, you are the only player willing to shield.
2. As a crossbowman, you are the only player willing to shield.
3. As an archer, you are the only player willing to shield.
4. As a redshirt, you are the only player willing to shield.
5. Every barricade is a normal barricade.
6. Barricades overlap.

Or in my case, think that a Nord is a player, walk calmly past it and get hacked down from behind.  :-[
