New Feature Proposal: Voting for a Team Captain

Hello everyone,
today you don’t have to vote for someone, but rather I’d like to discuss a suggestion to improve our mod with you. 
As you know, we currently have to press "5" to start the next wave. I find this can become quite tedious, especially when playing Hypers Hell for 3 hours straight. 
The motivation for everyone to keep pressing this key visibly decreases over the course of the event.

Therefore, I’d like to propose adding an option to temporarily elect a Team Captain in-game (perhaps with 75% of the votes). The readiness check for a new wave would then depend solely on this elected captain. This would allow everyone to play more efficiently, and the team captains would no longer need to spam "5" in chat or repeatedly remind others over voice chat.
Of course, this system could be exploited for trolling, so I suggest testing it only on the event servers for now.

i think, the „captain“ who is able to skip has an hard job then. The captain has to focus on at least 15 ppl to check out if everyone is ready. At the same time he maybe need to heal/refill/repair too.
if he skip when someone is not ready for the wave, what happens? Think there will be much pointless discussion on the servers then. The Captain will be the scapegoat in my opinion.

The idea isnt bad at all points.
Maybe its an idea to vote about prep time yes or no at the beginning of a run (within the first wave).
for example 75% or 100% vote „no prep time this run“ and it is off until w15 or map change.
