I am a new player. Actually, the biggest problem is not this but
Legendary Loot
The drop rate is much lower, especially for a new player like me who just started playing recently.
Buying from players is too expensive
I have played for more than 30 days and no legendary items have dropped.
In fact, I have been playing for 30 days and only got 3000000 Gold I basically play all the time. Can't afford the legend I need
My friend told me that it takes 16 players to get a normal drop rate.
In fact, I rarely meet 15 players.
Usually 2~9 people
Hopefully, the drop rate of Legendary Loot for new players can be increased. or Increase my Gold income
There is a huge gap between the price of Legendary Loot players trading and the income from in-game Gold

Your personal drop rate isn't influenced by how many people are in a server. The only advantage a full server has over is that more players means more nords spawn, which in turn means more chances for you to loot (aka assist xp lines).

Not that the loot system is balanced right now, but increasing the drop rate for new players most likely won't happen. The chance to loot something is supposed to be the same for every player, including new players. Also, increasing your personal gold income would be wild, just like increasing the gold income of everyone. Guess what happens when everyone gets rich...?

Don't give up though, it may or may not get better in the future, there's always hope.

I had something harsher typed up, but deleted it. You really don't realize how much less of a grind the mod is today than it was years ago. A former dev once told us something to this effect in the official voice chat server: "We can't have a game where everyone has legendaries. That's not going to happen." Compare that to where the game is today.
If you want input that might help you on your journey in this mod: you don't need legendary items to get far. You will get much farther by focusing on support items instead of a little more damage and/or survivability. This can even help get you invited to events where the most efficient gameplay takes place and increase your chances of looting. Of course, you'll probably be like many transplants that will ignore this and then eventually quit. But I'll sincerely be glad if you prove me wrong.
