It has been said before by a dev that when cades touch, they're basically continually colliding with each other which causes a lot of stress on the servers (or something), thus causing crashes. Also, using too many barricades also causes crashes, so use them sparingly (the more players shielding the better).

Because changing the nature of the collisions seems to be impossible, perhaps it would be best if the cade itself is made unable to deploy in instances in which touching would occur. Seems like a practical solution to this very irritating problem.

It could be the Euro version of Wheaties. Besides that I agree It's getting annoying seeing all those cades stacked up. When you see it you just know your not going anywhere...
