It's not actually usable by everyone IIRC. The web text is pretty outdated when it comes to that. For example, the war cleaver has never shown up for my pikeman. I think it's mostly for heavy infantry and up, or sargeants and up in the infantry line.

I had 2 up for about 5 days, didn't sell a thing. Even for 14k, which is almost half of the profitable price.

They usually go for about 10k each if I recall correctly.
