Quick question about Class Points

Do you have to unlock the previous class levels before moving on to the next, or can you just jump straight to the higher tiers once you meet the requirements?

You have to unlock every tier to advance in that class tree.

I thought so. I only asked because I saw someone who said they were a lvl 8 Heavy Infantry, and I'm lvl 10 and don't have enough points to unlock the class yet, so I thought maybe I could respec and just jump straight to the next tier.

I saw that one too. In the Scarlet Blade House thread, right? I was like uhh, that's not possible. But then I just didn't say anything.

I didn't read it but it's possible he just wrote 8 instead of 18.
