With the hope worth 2.7 mil in crafting cost and the Dragon Axe has gone for 1.5 - 2 mil lately, I think this is a more than fair trade.

That was before the 8c boost to the Dragon Axe. I'd say the Dragon Axe is a) way better and b) way more expensive nowadays.

DWP is very short indeed, though in my opinion the high pierce damage makes the weapon very interesting anyway... Ragnarok enemies often have 60-100 body armor. Not mentioning you can kill Prince or Ragnar with your DWP I think it's a drawback for a great advantage. A good trade-off. That's why Dragon axe (nice weapon anyway) is much cheaper than DWP.
