I'm almost certain that, from what you described, it's Darkrai which is a legendary and has been banded from official tournaments I do believe for exactly that reason.

I had heard that both of those games where really good, but I think as far as handheld games go I'm going to stick with Pokemon. I only own a DS to play the Diamond and Soul Silver, and I only play them out of nostalgia from childhood. They are still good games for what they are, but if i want to play a better game I've got a PC and two consoles to play!
