If it is saying that, then it means the activation code linked to your copy of Mount and Blade: Warband has already been used to create a character for Nord Invasion. Do you share your copy of Warband with anybody else? If they've created a Nord Invasion profile with your CD key, you will have to login to the website using your username and their password. You can manage characters individually of each other, but you can only have one sign-in password per CD key.
