Favorite Pokemon Game Generation

I found my old game boy colour last weekend. With my working Pokemon red! I was thinking of playing it on the tube on the way to work, it would elevate the boredom every day.
I still think the first generation of Pokemon games was the best. All the others have just been minor updates to keep up with new generations of kids.
