Legendaries and the average green drop.

The only reason I am continuing the discussion is because you are saying you just want to play and are the first person in this topic to imply the current system is fine as it is. You are saying you have no issue with playing the game for the rest of your life and having the statistically probability that you will never get a material drop ever again. So I am only pushing to get your side as it is lacking in this discussion.

I am just curious as to is the joy of playing really enough for people still, from the player opinions I have witnessed over the past many months, it does not seem to be the case until your comment.

Hm... Getting me thinking. I guess I probably wouldn't have thought the same way a month ago before I have the gear I have now. Now that I'm a hero, have a defender shield, shc and other mid tier gear I feel like I can contribute well to pretty much any team and I'm no longer desperate to get a lot of money and get new gear. I enjoy hanging around with people in TS and just enjoy playing the game too. I know the drops are a big part of it but at the gear level I'm at now I would be happy to just play the game for the game.

This would also probably be different if I was at the top gear level. Since I don't see myself realistically competing to be one of the richest players in NI at this point, I'm not incredibly motivated to get super rich. This would change if all players were put on an equal footing because of a reset or something (don't worry, I'm not trying to say there should be one, I'm just explaining myself). I'm very competitive and if I felt I had a chance at being at the top, I would try much harder to get there.

I guess the best way to explain it though, is that I just enjoy the game. I enjoy shielding for 2 hours for the 10 minutes of chaos running up and down the hill to kill thor. I enjoy dicking around with people on ts and building sarissa forts.

I've kind of got to rambling but I'm incredibly sleep deprived so maybe I'll try to express myself again once I've made up my sleep.
