The maps needs to be updated regularly or we only play on routine and the game gets boring imo.

Yes, this is one of our main reasons when we are updating maps.

why not make all the other maps better so we don't skip them so we can actually complete rag on them

We are constantly updating maps to make them "better". Don't be afraid to test out new places in maps.
Also we want to give players a huge variation of maps and places to play with.
