Well, this would depend on the map. You could, for example, put the anvil on top of the palisade on The Great Hall. Bots could hardly hit it there and shielders only had to look up to repair shields. It would also work on the wall on Swadian City, on Fortress Outskirts, Fortress Under Siege, Swadian Bay and Swadian Outskirts

Well, if there are anvils to improve shields and weapons, there will be a reason why there is none repairing shields, probably because You could just do things like taking 4 commandos shielding on Swadian Old Village, 2 Shielding up, 2 repairing their shields. If the shielding ones need a repair, the other 2 just join in from a side and take over shielding
