I guess that's the point of hybrid and specialist, no?

Hybrid are good in many things but specialist is better in one

Notice the reduced stats thing i mentioned.

Imagine: Pikeman can use pike of kings (52 pierce)
Hybrid with heavy skirmisher can use Masterwork halfpike ( 40 pierce ) , which is a pike you use in a special way, where it would require both skill in heavy arms and polearms.
Would be nice. Requirements: Sergeant and Heavy skirmisher, forexample

A specialist should only be better than the hybrid in the specialists speciality. The hybrid is better than him when it comes to all the others, and most of all, when it comes to mixing it all up.

I get what you mean, but a hybrid shouldn't be worse at the game than all other classes because of gearlack - And i'm not saying hybrid currently is, just that a nice few hybrid gears would be nice , that is meant for the hybrid. As i put in an example, the masterwork halfpike - Could also be some kind of 1h + Polearm mode, or 2h + polearm mode - Seeing as a hybrid between Skirmisher and Infantry would utilize his skills in several arts of combat.

Could also be a crossbow which has bow functions ( A crossbow ingame, the bow functions are only for lore . ) For Heavy longbowman - Man at arms hybrid.

Don't worry, i'm not asking for a hybrid to be better than a specialist in his speciality.

Heck, i wouldn't mind if the hybrid gear would have same stats as marketplace, what i'm mostly seeking is the "Unique" items Something that looks cool, that only hybrids can wear. =)
