Warband works on all three of the Windows 10 computers I've tried it on.

The option Bobo referred to is set to 0 on both my desktop and laptop.  I would suggest renaming that file to reset it and see what happens.  (You could delete it but renaming it would give you a backup if you wish to revert.)

If you are using Steam, have you tried verifying your local game cache?

Are any other games exhibiting similar audio issues?

Omg that worked! Renaming the file solved the problem. Thanks so much Kip and thank you Bobo for your suggestions.
