About nearly all armors here, you seem to compare weight of better armors with weight of weaker armors which does not make any sense. It is natural thing for sronger armors made of heavy mats to be heavier then armors made out of cloth and fur. Same thing goes for legendary items, tanos legacy is better then other pike helmets so it shoul be heavier. Weight is price we pay for better protection. Only thing that seem right here is what you stated about milinese and velrolen plate.
