well i don't technically remember waht price i put it in for but i had 349k but now i have 149k from the tax

At least ask for the amount you paid "extra" instead of some arbitrary amount. And if you don't understand how this works, I would be inclined to say you don't deserve any refund...

1. You intend to list something for N (and it's listed on the auction hall for 380k)
   
2. The fee for listing something is 0.05N + 10
   
3. You instead list it for 10N (since you add a 0 to the end)
   
4. The fee instead becomes 0.5N + 10
   
5. If you are "owed" anything from this mistake, it would be the difference between 4 and 2.
   
6. This difference is 0.45N
   
7. In your case, N = 380000 0.45N is 171000
   
8. You can even check this yourself!!!
   
9. Attempt to list something for 380k (don't actually list it)
   
10. The fee says 19010
    
11. Now add a 0 to the end of that to make the price 3.8M
    
12. The fee says 190010
    
13. Find the difference between 12 and 10
    
14. 171000
    
15. If you're not at least 13 years old, be amazed at how the math works!!! "Holy smokes! This is the same number as 7!!! How did he do that? He must be some kind of sorcerer"
    
16. If you are at least 13 years old, please at least make some attempt at getting the numbers right next time.
