The part of my post you are referring to was meant as a general remark. I wouldn't want to go as far as
calling that post he made an infringement. It wasn't. If it felt like I had said that, I apologize to you Sir Baron.
I must have seen a tendency of thinking into a wrong direction that obviously wasn't there.

Ah, that's good then.  It is a totally reasonable tendency to be wary of, given the current political/social climate...

As far as this thread goes, what type of conclusions do you hope to draw from the data the poll collects?

I hope it will draw a picture of the situation which might have not been clearly visible. There is a lot of speculation
and many opinions about the amount of drops but there is no big picture that collects all those opinions and specu-
lations. This thread may give a glimpse on it and make the invisible visible. For example, if someone gets a lot of
news about too less loot, he can take a look here and get an impression about what actually happens and that may
or may not confirm a personal feeling about how balanced the drop rates actually are.
So the thread is meant to provide information that earlier wasn't there in a form that is supported by facts rather
than speculation. Of course a poll like that can't provide scientific proof into one or the other direction, however it
may show more reality than single opinions about it, read in this or that thread.
