Buying materials on the auction house? The prices are almost as bad as some of the offers here on the forums.  I'd rather drown in gasoline while pissing broken glass and having the Eiffel tower shoved up my ass.  As for drop rates, I think sharma said it pretty plainly.  Normal and hard are worthless, ragnarok never happens in public.  Servers more empty than a catholic nun.  By the time you grind the materials to build whatever armor/weapon/item you're after, you'll probably be able to just buy Bannerlord.
