besides you dont pick a class for its stats but for its items, this whole discussion is entirely pointless especially seeing that akanamah doesnt even have a legio

And not having a legionnaire only helps to be objective on that topic. Ofc everyone who have it will not call it OP.

You can't be objective when you talk about a nerf or a buff lel. You should know the class well enough before writing something about it. So obviously everyone who plays legionnaire will say the legionnaire is not OP because that's a fact. Giving a melee class a low defense is comparable with a bug or can you explain why the hell someone should actually use the 1h skill of a legionnaire even though you know you'll die with a high chance?! Thats what I call broken. Not the legionnaire itself but the fact, the skillpoints are not well distributed.

I don't play RG but I see that most of the rag runs are successfull which means the shielders do a great job. I'm not going ahead calling them OP just because their shields don't break because I have absolutely no clue how it is to be a shielder in the shieldwall and I can imagine there are a lot of problems as a shielder but none of them is that their shields are too good. So you better stop being objective. Seriously.
