The torch has more weight. Wulfsbane or Eb will make a better blocking utensil for Warden just for that reason. 

Warden - Eb or Wulf
Senti - Steel Stinger or Torch.
Sentry - Pride
Ranger - Eb or Wulf or Torch.

If you are getting more than 5 kills a run in melee with Warden you picked the wrong class.
