immortal horses

why are swadian horses immortal?
buying horse armour is a waste of money now.

because the cav mode got an overhaul some time (years?) ago.there were trained ponies, which could be crafted by alchemist. easy way for new players to get into cavalry without first grinding 25k mounted xp. Nowadays the only ponies you can ride are the nordish ones stolen from either W1 or W2 onwards
