What kind of program do you use to make the weapons, Ryu?

Blender for 3d, GIMP for 2d.

Sounds complicated... he put all his textures in a blender?

Into GIMP, but mixing them in blender before also helps . (actually, mixing-multiplying them in blender texture slots really helps)
