I agree the reward is antiquated. But if you're going to suggest an update, then it should be commensurate to about the same value. Your proposal is way too high: 10 Legendary Essences would be like looting and distilling multiple red legendary items. In the era between the quests' implementations and the existence of Legendary Essences, 5 Phoenix Feathers wouldn't get you an upgrade or trade for any "good" item, and you want the reward to be multiplied a few times over while keeping the level of effort the same?

The amount of time that has to be invested in farming minions for Rfta I, not to mention farming all the bosses for Rfta II, is simply not justified by the current reward. This was true both when the quest was originally introduced and even more so today.

Considering that an average player nowadays gets loot roughly every two weeks while actively playing, whereas completing this quest requires several months of intensive farming, it is long overdue for the reward to be adjusted to match the current state of the game.

That is why I agree with Hamster; the same amount of effort should be rewarded with a higher payout.

(And preferably applied retroactively to players who have already completed the quest as well >_>)

1. I wouldn't want the quest reward to be changed in such a way that the quest is "worth it" to complete. I just want the reward to be as useful as it used to be before the update, because the 5 Phoenix Feathers and 5.000.000 Gold are without a discussion worth less now than they used to be. The relation of how much completing Rise From The Ashes helps you progress should be the same.
2. The average player gets loot every two weeks? crazy.
3. Applying it retrospectively wouldn't make any sense, since you'd be rewarded twice for the same quest, which would be just be unfair considering you claimed the 5 Phoenix Feathers (and 5.000.000 Gold) when they were worth something.
