they do have a small collision mesh , the problem is that people are stacking them so the collision point is too high for AI to "walk" over it. People were making walls of 2-3 ammo boxes and AI were just stuck behind it. Thank god people abused only after citadel was changed, what an abusive way to get XP it would have been in the Archest Nest.
