So the first plated archer you might see will have plate armour (sargeant/commando) and at best archer class, which only have 50 bow profiency or something, and do puny damage against everything above cloth armour.
Roran is pretty much right! However there will be a level cap, so i doubt we will see full on snipers in plate as that combination probably wont be available
