Only problem with this is that Zweihander can not equip the Defender shield.  It is hero locked.

I would go for SHC aswell, then the team see you support them and likes you even more and you will reach higher waves and do not need to tome that often
Then I would go for hero and then a Boarding Axe or even a HWH, because it is the RGs job to bring in shields.
Get a better slashing weapon after hero I would say.
