Some more gold, got some more mats.

Also interested in a Sharpshooter Bow and War Arrows for my Heavy Longbowmen, soon to be Sniper.

How about sharpshooter bow for all your hardened metal?

Can also sell war arrows for 150k.
Those prices are far far too steep. I'm pretty sure I could get the Bow and War Arrows combined for 550k or 600k.
...seriously? Sure, you might find someone desperate to sell you cheaper. But I don't and never will sell under crafting cost. Also I am giving you some leeway in letting hardened metal be 5.8k when I and many other people also never buy for higher than 5k.

Just a quick guide below, bare in mind all those quoted prices on materials are ON or BELOW what they are actually worth.

Sharpshooter
15 x Flemish String (3'500 g each) = 52500
10 x Oil (12'000 g each) = 120000
5 x Quality Candle (25 g each)
40 x Sturdy Wood (1'000 g each) = 40000
100 x Twisted String (2'000 g each) = 200000
10 x Wood of Glasir (15'000 g each) = 150000
Total = 562500

War Arrows
5 x Blade Shard (16'000 g each) = 80000
3 x Flemish String (3'500 g each) = 10500
10 x Hardened Metal (5'000 g each) = 50000
2 x Oil (12'000 g each) = 24000
15 x Sturdy Wood (1'000 g each) = 15000
Total = 179500

I saw your striped armor 'deal' offer too, if you continue to offer unbalanced deals. You may soon find yourself not able to trade with anyone.
Its not fair to value items at material prices. Materials are open ended, crafted items are not. In addition, because there is no cost to crafting items (the crafter actually benefits and will actively seek out to craft for free), mats are worth more than the end item. I understand if you want to value it at the mats, but when I can buy for less, I'm not going to buy for more.

And my Striped Armor offer netted someone willing to sell at 350k. My offer is not out of line. Also, if so many people (3-4 people) are selling for 400k and no one is biting. Material cost is easily over 500k. I offer low and people will bid up naturally. If I start at 350k, they'll probably want 375k or 400k. I don't want to pay that (especially as I want to get a slight profit out of it).

And if almost no one buys Hardened Metal at over 5k, why are so many people willing to buy at 5.5k? I myself don't buy at that price, but you pay for convenience of not having to wait and getting it in bulk. If you don't want to value at 5.8k, don't buy from me.

Sometimes my prices aren't exactly fair, but sometimes I don't want the items and only want to buy at something safe. If you want to buy something now, or no one cares for your item, then its the trade off. Convenience of instant money versus spending excess time trading.

I am actually extremely interested in e-economies (and I study Finance in college so I guess right career path) and this one is tiny compared to a lot of the ones I've been in. There are definitely issues like not being able to trade with anyone. But if I really want it, I would offer what I would offer. Its like your comment on Twigs. Price is relative and always in flux.
The point is I pride myself on offering trades that people want. You put those items on your wish list implying you wanted them, I offered you them at a fair and reasonable price, and you refused. There is fair and honest trading and then there is running a cut throat business. Obviously by your posts and your analysis of the NI economy you are intending on making your trades as the latter. Which is fine, a lot of people have made a lot of money that way, people do also get good deals by offering people what they want.

Anyway, best of luck in your endeavors.
But its not terribly fair if I think that I can buy it from other people for less. I'm not even being terribly unreasonable looking for bottom of the barrel prices for the SS Bow and War Arrows. That combo was offered for 500k twice in the past month (after auction). I would be willing to pay over that for them.

Just because I wish for something doesn't mean I want to pay a lot for it. I want to pay what I think is fair given the market conditions. With legendary items, there is less concrete pricing so price fluctuations are possible, but with craftables, the upper limit is how much it takes to craft, the lower limit is however supply and demand dictates pricing. If buying at a lower price is cut throat, then half the business in the world are cut throat. And you operate by a different standard, having what people want. That is a very viable way. I don't have a wide variety of items and legendaries to offer and make deals. So what I do is I buy at what I think is fair for me. If people are willing to sell their Sharpshooter Bows for less than you are offering, I would take that offer. Would you not do the same for any other item you buy? If I offered you a Twig at 7 million and someone else offered you at 6 million, would you not go for the 6 million first (or knowing your wealth, both Tongue? ).

Its unfair to call me cut throat just because I want the best prices for myself and I offer a service that people may or may not want or need.

Yes, buying low and selling high is smart business and is how most modern trade is conducted. Being cut throat is the definition of looking out for yourself and being ruthless in trade discussions. I didn't mean it as derogatory.

@ Leahcim: Willing to go lower on the Steel Cutter? Mostly because the SS Bow is more interesting to me. I also don't need it and I don't want to run out of gold xD

@ Murrow: How about renegotiating to 275k + Bear Fur + Scale?

Not completely unreasonable, but it is steep to me at least Tongue At least by a margin of 20% (given my HM pricing and recent sales of SS Bows). So my apologies if you took offense to it.

And cut throat at least seems derogatory because if you think about it, cut... throats. The terminology evokes that imagery of someone being bad.
