Well pierce is the best for heavy armors and about the dwp it has 46 p so it's effective too

No, blunt is effected by armor the least. If I remember correctly it is only marginally so (about 5%, correct me if I am wrong), so it isn't a huge difference. But blunt is indeed better against armor.

Aye, blunt ignores the biggest armor portion, so it's more effective against heavy armour than pierce.

armor_reduction_factor_against_cut = 1.0
armor_reduction_factor_against_pierce = 0.5
armor_reduction_factor_against_blunt = 0.75
=>pierce is better than blunt damage
(Not sure tho)

It was my understanding that cut was 35% effective against armor, pierce was 60% effective, and blunt was 65%. Maybe we can get someone who knows the numbers for sure to tell us.

What about the armor soak values? I know in native blunt at least used to be best against armor. It is actually kind of weird to have that changed.
