I also added a Raven skull. Since people seemed to want a skull who posted, I went more that route. But, If we want more classic heraldic type elements, I can add those in. Or it we want polearms/arrows as well.

I agree to this one actully I remmber the swords being to big and lways getting cut off and looking horrible on heraldic mail and shields so 3 would work well I think.

Yeah, the problem is for round shields and for the emblem over your head. You really only have a circular shape in the middle of the banner to work with.  For any of the heater/kite/board shields, it gets most of the banner. For all huscarl/heater/kite, you have a bar running vertically. For armor, most of the banner make it too.

Edit: Actually, I made an example that fits in the "circle" (#10), and it's quite honestly, my favorite at this point.

oh wow they're all good, the last one looks too much like the one we have now imo I dont really like our current but its not only mychoice others probably think differently.

I do like the lion on white, but I'm not really a huge fan of the "V". I like the vertical middle stripe.

The one with the wings I made solely if people really like the current design, it could just be spruced up to have a sword instead of a foil (what is this...Renaissance France?) and some cleaner wings.

I added an action shot of several in the original post. The placement of the smaller stuff in the middle is working quite well.  Details in the sword essentially disappear.  :'(

And remember, I'm partially just throwing up variations on there to get a idea of what it could look like. I can easily take concepts from any of them and remix it. Ah, the joys of vector graphics.

Edit: cleanup. If anyone wants to see any more in game ones, let me know. Those take much longer than cranking out the banner image though.

I feel we should avoid skulls. We are not aiming to be a biker gang. Personally I feel they are tacky.
