Hey there,
since it's now officially useless to sell these fine pieces of craftsmanship on the AH, I simply sold them off to the dealer. That's when I noticed the mail with surcoat amounts to 33xx Gold, whereas the tunic on is only 27xx Gold - bug or feature? ;-)
I am aware that they differ in stats by one point, but they cost the same material - I believe they should bring in the same EXP and same Gold when sold to merchant.
