Kings Favour, Kings Task

So, being a small, private house for just me and my friends, we have been wondering what the Kings Favour and Kings Tasks actually do. Could someone (preferably a dev if they are allowed) explain what they are and how we can get them (if possible)?

These were meant for the campaign that was going to be implemented. Seeing as we have no campaign as of now, you should not worry about them. They do nothing.
