I tried to jump over the river and fell into the water, which could be stand there. I could go one way when I went to the other died.

I have had a happen a couple of times.  There was one run that I could not die in the water at all.  I would jump in to die for spawn and just run around on the bottom trying to find a spot that would kill me every single time.
