Why was my account resent I had a level 35 sergeant and now it's reset

Assuming your character is named ButterMasher, it is still level 35 sergeant.  What is happening when you join a server?

When i log on the website to edit my character it shows only 100 gold and level 1 with nothing on it

To unhide the character ahead of it
