Best armor?

Two small questions..

Which class has best armor overall? The spear/militia tree or the Infantry one?

And is the heraldic armor bound to one of them or can both use it?

infantry aka commando has best armor...

Two best armors are Striped and Transitional...

Not sure which of the two is better never have transitional, but it is expensive so it could be better than striped.   

I don't think i have ever seen a skirmisher in Heraldic before...

transitional is the best, followed by striped then Swadian heavy lamellar atm

Maybe the weight is 35, but i was talking about leg armor.

It seems hecur doesn't know that armours protect the legs as well  ;D
