Well, I've never watched that much animes (except the classics like Pokemon, Yugioh or Naruto), but newly discovered some "adult" animes shown in German free-tv (every Wednesday at midnight ):

Akame Ga Kill
Demon King Daimao

I really recommend them, the first is a bit more brutal and grim, the second is funnier.

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is a must see up there with the greats, cowboy bebop, samurai champloo etc; Didn't notice someone already mentioned this show. A couple other greats, Desert Punk or Gungrave.

Mushishi is an interesting series on spirituality, pretty good overall.

I know its been recommended a couple times already but Berserk is such a great show, they have the series and 3 movies that basically covers the series in higher definition graphics, has some new details, missing others but its great either way.

Kodomo no Jikan, yeah I went there.
