Welcome to the second exciting installment of the NORD INVASION DWARF FORTRESS!
We're going to have a wonderful time this playthrough because we're going to change a few things:

We are going to be using the latest version of Dwarf Fortress: 0.42.06
I am going to take a list of names and professions that everyone would like to be.

More roleplaying on my part as I tell you what your Dwarfself has done!

So let's get down to it! First we need to compile a list of people so that migrant waves are quickly taken care of.
NOTE: I cannot guarantee you will be your preferred gender, or married to who you would like to be married to!
But that's where most of the fun is, right?

Beginning

So we've settled down, and everyone has quickly gone off to work. This is the really boring part so not much here. We have a bit of a flying animal issue, but they haven't attacked us yet. We're decently close to the border, so that can be an issue but I should work around it easily. Main issue: No soil for farms.

First Migrants

Somewhere in the summer the first migrant wave showed up. Here's the fortress as it stands. Those two kids are Deer's. I did notice something a bit strange though... Happy is a double murderer. Mikoto and I grew attached to our shitty shields... unfortunately. Progress on the fortress has been really slow, but things seem to be stable. We traded some some stuff, mainly random shit Xen crafted, since goddamn do masterwork stepladders sell for a ton. The outpost liaison also updated us on world events.

Second Wave - Before Winter

Just a bit after the traders leave, and just before winter entombs us, migrant wave number 2. This is where I find out a ton of people are related. Tarrod is a legendary miner, no surprise there. Xen and Terath have been shitting out masterworks since day one. Check below for what the fortress currently looks like, I'll be updating it regularly as we expand.

If you want to become attached to a weapon, then you need to be in the military. Some pretty lax jobs are farmer, (kinda military), Fisher.

Are you saying you want a lesbian relationship? I don't think migrants show up with gay marriages, although possible I cannot choose a dwarf who is gay and the percentage is about 5% or .5% I forget. Other than that, Your profession isn't valid so I'm putting you as unassigned.
