Well I changed my name today from Reclusiarch_Grimaldus to ZoS_Reclusiarch_Grimaldus, I was a level I think 30 Sergeant/Xbow, However now in-game my name is the same as the old and I'm dressed how you are when you haven't typed in your referral code.

It seems like a horrible name to begin with...

Sorry, that was not very helpful. To fix that problem you have to change your name IN Warband as well.
