Changing CD-Key

I reinstalled M & B with another CD-Key, is there the possibility to use my old character with all the objects and the experience I had?

There is a way. But first off, did you get it through Steam?

No i didn't get it through Steam

Ok, here is what you have to do (and hopefully you are using W7). Also, this will only be of any use if you have your old Code.

Open "Task Manager"

Open "New Task"

Type in, "regedit"

Go to the "Edit" drop-down menu, and click on "Find"

Copy and paste this into it, "MountAndBladeWarbandKeys"

It will show you a list of things that goes,

(Default)
Activation Code
Hardware Hash
last_module_war.....
serial_key

You want the "serial_key". That is the key that you are using to run Warband right now. Right click "serial_key" and click "Modify", then paste that key into an email and send it to yourself so you have it and paste in your old one. After that you will be all set to rock and NI!
