Cades and building points

Something I thought of recently, how about we make so that the more of the same type of cade is placed the more build points it cost to place it.

Example with made up point costs :

No Strong barricade currently placed = normal point cost : 2 points to place.
Already 2 Strong barricade placed =   4 for the already placed and 2 more to place one : 6 points to place.
Already 3 strong barricade placed = 6 for the already placed and 2 more to place one : 8 points to place.

and this method on all types of barricade will force players to mix and match cades intelligently by making the build points relevant, possibly bringing back more RGs and with more RGs comes more gap to slash for more melee.

I think this is generally a good idea in an ideal setting.

With the current pool of Engineers? No. A thousand times no. If anything Engineering needs to be dumbed down and streamlined in whatever way it can be done. For example build points removed and some sort of incentive for building your own barricade. Maybe gold? Maybe experience boost? Maybe attack speed boost? Engineers right now are like the kids you put in a corner and give coloring books to while the rest of the class is learning.
