Warden is a 'boring' class

Hey,

I know this has been said time and time again but warden is to many lacklustre. I have been thinking of ways that warden could potentially be a class of its own not a simple stat stick. This has been mentioned but the possibility of decreased draw speed and aim (as aim on warden does little to no difference compared to its counterparts) in exchange for more shots like repeaterman without drawing the bow again and again.

My other more suitable idea are 'poison arrows' that tick on shot to add extra damage to warden (there are certain criteria to be met for a poison shot if game allows it), it has to be a headshot. As warden is someone that stat wise should excel at headshotting. To avoid a class being broken on bosses the poison arrow would tick only on shot as mentioned before. We have tricksters that do poison damage why not bring something that does poison to swadia's side. I only covered the basics here but the potential for a poison arrow is much more unique and likely similar to the repeaterman.This would also mean merging/rethinking tempest and typhoon or going around the damage of poison that each bow deals.

Hope this gets a discussion going.

I understand you, I mentioned the same issue before, but I think they told me that Warden is balanced enough. When I said it doesn’t have enough damage, everyone had something to say.  Smile

I wouldn't say it isn't balanced its more of a gameplay issue compared to uniqueness of other classes.

We have 4 red bows and always found it a bit of a missed opportunity that warden bows are just better then the all heros ones when they could be different

It's like legacy isn't dramatically better then durendal in its normal mode but legacy offers a 2nd mode that's unique to that class 

I think be kinda interesting if you could have 2 modes on warden bows one were in theory he would pull back the bow more so a slower firing speed but gain well ye something

Could have 2nd mode with mild shield punch through and slower draw speed if that's somehow workable. Like Mangler and Lucerne Hammer 2nd mode

Just the fact that volcanic daggers can do what they do is ridiculous and basically put warden on the chopping block as soon as they dropped 

They offer effectively about the same game play as sniper so would be interesting if at least warden could act a bit like how a pikeman can throw stuff using his bow 

Sniper has less armour and doesn't have the melee option pikeman has he only has flight speed so given the right stats I don't see why this can't be a thing

Idea just popped up since warden barely uses its arrows why not have him shoot two (at same damage to 1) for second mode, whereby he has a chance to crushthrough with one and other would be for the damage, just a thought.

My other issue with warden is that he has too many arrows and you don't feel like emptying your quiver. For the fact I can equip 200 arrows and use 20 each wave is an issue of its own. I rarely have to refill.
