I wasn't going to bother replying to this...

But ok... you got me.... you captured an incriminating one liner at a VM event with a server full of Admins and Dev.  At an event that the VM members were gracious enough to allow you to attend.

I have been known from time to time to write out a one-line zinger in chat based on the conversation in the audio channel.  While I don't remember this exact one, it is possible that I wrote that, but purely in jest.  Without the conversation that was ongoing in the audio channel, there is no telling how that comment fit into the context.  I am also sure that in the audio channel it was clear that it was a jest.  Audio channel participation is a requirement for VM events, so you were likely there also.

Would I have made the same comment/joke on a public server, not likely.  But given that it was a private event server and several other admin were there, i felt comfortable joking around with them.  Thank you for reminding me that when guests are present I should be more cautious.

I didn't know that racism is fine, as long as it's in a private event server. The conversation in the voice channel, from what I recall, was renji talking about his asian hate crime experience. I expect absolutely nothing to come of this, but how is this fair? Other players got banned for jokingly saying the N-word.

context: Renji in vc was talking about his asian hate crime experiences during the covid era at a grocery store i think and then spirit went "should have put all dem ch*nks in camps" ingame then Renji stopped talking. I screenshotted it as i found it incredibly funny (ironically) as imagine a black guy explaining his hate crime story to people then a random bystander goes "should have kept them n*ggers in the fields." Ironic humor because you know at a time of empathetic emotion (likely) you get hit with that LMAO. 

Anyway i shared the screenshot because i found it even more ironically funny being spirit is an admin and the server was filled with admins and devs. Times where players in this community would rage to me in dms about xyz person then inserting xyz [slur] then recanting the statement in a period of guilt for crashing out. I found it hilarious if i inserted the spirit screenshot in response as a "oh don't worry admins literally do the exact same thing we're all human" to top off the moment.

Personally i do not classify as "asian" but i COULD be classified somewhat as "asian" i don't take offense to this slur of course being i see the (ironic) humor embedded within it. Honestly ive heard worse in other games and irl in mma gyms. From a legal and ruleset perspective though it logically deserves punishment as it clearly is not allowed in the ruleset otherwise. "ignorantia legis neminem excusat - Ignorance of the law excuses no one" (except admins or in private event servers i guess, change ruleset or something.) [Literally found at the top of the ruleset link.] Not my problem though or my issue. Coming from a VM member BTW.

I leave off with if you're gonna say stuff in a humorous way that is gonna break the rules you have to expect to be screenshotted but the intent behind the screenshot was purely humorical analysis rather than reporting. Another one for my collection majority of which are warlord reapsot quotes.

I don't remember being offended at all. Personally I think what Spirit said was fucking hilarious though.

I only know one joke in China, which is that people who like to ask Chinese people if they are racist or not come from countries where racial discrimination is highly prevalent. these conversations happens in NI many times too.
some of u guys even say raciset words in Discord Official Voice Channel,isn't it?
