Hello Community!
Great news! We have looked under all the benches in the local taverns and maybe engaged in some sneaky endeavours with some Nord Thieves... and finally scrounged up enough gold to Pray To Odin and he has answered.
I am very excited to say that these are the most powerful servers we have ever managed to get before, and see significant improvements to CPU etc, and are hosted out the same data centre we had used previously. Additionally, after alot of rework and effort, I have managed to get everything updated to work reliably with the latest versions of many dependencies as well as delivering some significant improvements to how we manage the servers.
During load testing, we have found that even spawning twice the number of bots as is normally possible still managed to maintain a playable experience (though incredibly insane) and the ping for UK testers averaged 25ms, whilst US testers saw an average of 105ms, which also represents significant improvements to the previous NI servers.
So, please, go ahead and enjoy and let us know if there are any issues. And thank you all for bearing with us as we worked to deliver these improvements. I am sorry it's taken so long to get to here but hopefully this will deliver that experience we all have been craving for and hope to see you back out there in game soon, and thanks to Midren and Terath for their persistence in getting this fixed.
