levels an exp needed for next

So I got up to lvl 3 after getting 450 XP.  Now I need 800 for lvl 4 but I went down to something like 150 XP.  Is this normal or is my charac bugged?

it's normal, it simply goes to 0 again,

Example

level 1      0/400
*Reached

Level 2            0/800
*reached

Level 3            0/1200


And so on and so on, you're level show your skill, not exp ammount.
