Rex is correct.

On another note, I think Huscarlton_Banks is an example of someone who was never in the redshirt stage. The first time I saw him, he was already an awesome commando standing in a shield wall.

There are some people who I cannot think of as redshirts anymore. All of the devs were noobs at some point.
