4- People don't even play safe anymore, if they die, no big deal, they get resurrected in no-time and die again, respawn again, etc... You end up with fucked up props and the game gets boring and too easy. People are standing, waiting for the people to make their 10 baricades, give royal shields and PoK / HWH to everyone, resurect their friends over and over. The worst is when the guy who contributes the most (shielder, slasher, sniper) isn't friend with the guy with the tome, when he dies it's funny and he didn't get resurrected, but we wait forever for the guy who's resurrecting his redshirt friend. Yes he's entitle to resurrected whoever he wants, but if the Tome was taken seriously and wasn't unlimited, I bet you would let your redshirt friend dead and rez the guy who,s really helping to make the team wins the map.

TL;DR ? Tome ruined NI, the end. It was too hard before, now with it it's too easy. Make up your mind what you want, but if you want it harder, Tome has to be balanced.

Appareantly I gave most of my loot chance to Fara. Mostly AFG, rise from the ashes from time to time.

Totally agree too.
-> Why was tome added ? to resurrect some people who have just died. To resurrect them ONCE per tome.
But tome owner can suicide just before someone else use the tome, spawning a new tome, etc. So in my opinion, tome shouldn't be able to respawn another tome
Can't devs make sure that if a tome owner is resurrected, he spawns with no tome ? (but with a tome after boss waves)
And maybe, when anyone is resurrected, he spawns with nothing in support slot... (-> not even more cades, no infinite tome, just 4 per game)
If you do so, be sure to give a compensation so that players don't cry, e.g. make tome resurrect people on the whole map (unlimited radius).

It makes no sense that you can resurrect someone who died so away from you. I don't think the radius should be change.


When you get revived, you should be revived without any equipment and you need to go loot your dead body to get your weapons back. Someone looted them already ? too bad, pick something on the ground and don't you freaking complain because you're alive now. That way, no more crazy duplicate of legendaries. Tome shouldn't be pickable. A doctor can't really save his own life (operation wise). It makes no sense that a random guy could save the life of a medic if he's an engineer. So tome shouldn't be pickable

Not even pickable by other people WHO CAN carry tomes?

Unless 2 people have tomes , you shouldn't be able to respawn a tome. The last thing you want is ask Dev to make a lot of coding to fix 1 thing (although we have to agree, abusing tome is ruining this mod at the moment).

You see, using tome is like using cheats in any game. At first it's fun, you kick ass , you kill everyone and it's easy, but you get bored of the guy quite fast and don't tend to play it again. Well same thing is happening here I'm afraid.

Why not ? why not resurrect all swadians in the map who died within 30 seconds ? While we're at it, does it make sense to resurrect people ? :Smile  call that magic or esotericism, as you want...
However, _Sphinx_, I find the idea to respawn (when you get resurrected) with no gear (only armor) quite sensible and interesting, but what if you re-appears just next to enemies ? Tongue good luck !
